The Realtors® Association of the Palm Beaches (RAPB) will host its first ever Housing Expo to help residents realize the American Dream of Homeownership Saturday, October 1, 2011.
The theme for this year’s event is, the Homeownership Journey. Collectively 30 companies and organizations will be on site to provide information and guidance regarding local government housing assistance, credit counseling, foreclosures, short sales and various other topics. Seminars related to mortgage options, foreclosures and short sales will be presented as well.
Date: Saturday, October 1, 2011
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Location: John Prince Park Center Drive Pavilion in Lake Worth. Enter the park off of either 6th Ave South or Congress Avenue (near JFK hospital) and follow the signs for Center Drive. You can access 6th Avenue South from I-95.
Cost: This event is FREE and open to the public.
Who should attend: Anyone looking to gain valuable information to help strengthen their purchasing power. Professionals will also be available to help anyone struggling with foreclosure or short sales.
Give-a-way bags to the first 250 attendees. Free face painting will be available from All Star Entertainment. Hot dogs, soda and water will be sold by Rotary Club of Delray Beach.
